This isn’t something I have to do at home. I have an attractive bamboo box next to the toilet. It perfectly fits three rolls of toilet paper. Once I’ve “installed” the last roll on the holder, I restock the box. I leave the lid up as a reminder until I get it done.
And, of course, I always have plenty of toilet paper on hand in the “extras” closet where I keep toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, hand soap, shampoo, cotton pads, etc. Running out of something is a no-no in our house.
But what about all the other bathrooms? In restaurants, airports, friends’ houses, gyms, malls, department stores…
I once, recently, had to use the restroom twice during an evening of drinking and bowling. Twice in a row I ended up in stalls without toilet paper. It was SO aggravating a) that the maintenance was so bad; and b) that I made the same mistake two times within a couple of hours.
Then and there I resolved to never not check for toilet paper before “sitting” down. Even if I’ve had a couple glasses of wine. 😉
