the 100I’ve been reading a lot about how it’s carbs that make you fat. It rings true to me. One of the first books I read that made a huge impression was Gary Taubes’ Why We Get Fat: And What to Do About It.

Well, Taubes is Jorge Cruise’s mentor. This book, The 100: Count ONLY Sugar Calories and Lose Up to 18 Lbs. in 2 Weeks, does a great job of explaining the science behind the “diet”, as well as presenting how to follow it in an accessible way.

I don’t have much weight to lose, and I’m not at all into deprivation – so The 100™ Plus program, which allows up to 300 Sugar Calories a day is what I aspire to follow. I don’t care if it takes a few months to lose the pounds. Last night I made scrambled eggs with cheese, and sautéd brussels sprouts with garlic, olive oil and bacon. Absolutely delicious!
