My printer is acting up a little. I’m not sure how much longer it’s going to last. I bought it in ’08 for $100, so I’m not complaining. But, hopefully, it’ll last another year or two. I don’t print much these days, but I need a functioning printer regardless.
In any event, I’m out of ink again. This time, I wanted to make my purchase a little less complicated. 😉 I had a coupon for Office Max for $10 off a purchase of $30. Plus, I had about $8 on a gift card that I’d been carrying around.
Rather than buy the 901XL cartridge for $39.99, I decided on two 901 cartridges for $29.99. Supposedly, the 901XL has three and a half times the ink of the 901 and is, therefore, a better bargain – even with the $10 coupon. But I didn’t want to spend the extra money for ink I may not need. To bump my purchase over $30 I also bought a small notepad for $2, something I’ve been meaning to get for weeks, to keep in the kitchen.
I used my Ink Bold card for 5X points.
And I recorded it on my spreadsheet as a business expense.
