Tomorrow is the last day of the year. For me, 2013 was a good year, overall, despite ending on a very sad note. Depending on how 2013 went, you may be ready to throw it away and start anew!
But don’t throw out your old calendar!
In fact, I always keep a few years’ calendars around. It helps with:
– recalling/confirming events and appointments
– copying birthdays/anniversaries from one year to the next (yes, I know it’s 2013 and I can put everything on my iPhone – but I don’t). I am, though, getting more technologically advanced by creating calendars online with Shutterfly. That way I don’t have to do all the transcribing every year.
I’ll bet I refer back to an old calendar at least a half dozen times/year. I’m always glad that I’ve kept it around.
