Even though I got my iPhone in November, I’d resisted relying on it for directions. I’d heard that Apple’s mapping app wasn’t so great. Besides, I was perfectly fine using MapQuest on my computer and printing off the instructions.
But, one of my kids informed me I was being “old school”. He downloaded Google maps onto my phone a few weeks ago.
And, finally, I tried it out. After all, I’ve been using my phone to transfer money and to deposit checks and as a flashlight. I may as well use it for as many things as I can. It’s an amazing tool.
I saved paper and ink. And I didn’t have to remember to map it all out before I got into the car.
