I’ve been making myself a Vietnamese coffee every morning since being introduced to it at a Chinatown restaurant in Vancouver in 2007. So, I guess you could say it’s a habit.
I’ve used a number of espresso coffees and all of them have worked well. Usually, there’s only one brand at King Soopers and lately it’s been Café Bustelo. It’s $5.49 for a 10 oz can there.
I always keep my eye out for better prices, so I was pleased to find it for $3.69 at Target and $3.39 at Walmart. But the best price of all was online at www.navarro.com where it cost $3.19/ea or ten for $30. Plus, they had a 10% discount for your first purchase and shipping is free for orders over $25.
I paid $27 for ten bricks of coffee. That’s more than a 50% discount over what it costs at King Soopers and more than 20% less than what it costs at Walmart so ago.
